Originally from Nigeria, she brings a deep understanding of African health systems and a passion for strengthening community‑centered care.

At the African Healthcare Association, Iheoma oversees project planning, execution, and partner coordination, ensuring that programs run efficiently and deliver meaningful impact. Her strategic mindset, organizational expertise, and commitment to advancing healthcare access make her an essential contributor to the Association’s mission.

Alima Tchafa PhD, MBA

AHA Founder

Alima Tchafa is a globally trained biomedical scientist and healthcare leader with more than 20 years of experience across basic, translational, and clinical research. She has led Medical Affairs initiatives supporting major oncology launches, managed national and international solid‑tumor clinical trials, and contributed to scientific strategy through medical writing and communications.

Educated across Africa, Europe, and North America, Alima holds a PhD in biomedical sciences, a master’s in biomedical engineering, an Executive MBA. As Founder of the African Healthcare Association and originally from Cameroon, Alima brings a global perspective and a deep commitment to strengthening healthcare systems and expanding access to quality care across the continent.

Ray Mankoski, MD PhD

Ray Mankoski is a strategic healthcare leader with more than 15 years of global biopharma experience across oncology, rare diseases, pediatrics, and neuropsychiatry. Known for his optimistic, solutions‑driven approach, Ray blends scientific depth with practical leadership to help organizations navigate complex healthcare challenges.
