Ghana · 5-star
The AHA Annual Conference is the premier gathering for healthcare leaders, clinicians, researchers, innovators, and policymakers committed to transforming healthcare delivery across Africa.
Building on AHA’s mission to strengthen health systems, expand access to quality care, and accelerate medical innovation, this conference brings together a dynamic community for two days of learning, collaboration, and impact.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Each track is curated around the highest-burden conditions in African healthcare today, paired with the global expertise needed to advance them.
Advances in cardiovascular diagnostics, prevention, and treatment, with a focus on reducing Africa’s growing burden of heart disease.
Strengthening child health outcomes by addressing infectious diseases, nutrition, neonatal care, and chronic conditions.
Improving cancer detection, treatment, and survivorship through multidisciplinary collaboration and access to modern therapies.
Enhancing diagnosis and management of digestive and liver diseases, with emphasis on hepatitis and GI cancers.
Addressing high-impact threats, including HIV, TB, malaria, and emerging pathogens, through updated clinical guidelines.
Advancing care for blood disorders such as sickle cell disease, anemia, and hematologic malignancies.
Tackling the rising burden of kidney disease through improved screening, dialysis access, and CKD prevention.
Elevating maternal, reproductive, and preventive health by addressing disparities and promoting evidence-based practices.
Exploring how artificial intelligence can enhance diagnostics, clinical decision-making, and health system performance.
Engage directly with a lineup representing cardiology, oncology, infectious disease, pediatrics, nephrology, women’s health, gastroenterology, and patient advocacy.
